ditto and I know of an agency that can facilitate the ja process and the US process to a certain degree but you will need a homestudy agency in your state. You can start looking at the requirements of the I600A on the USCIS site

Just a quick update.

the baby fadda sey him nuh want di baby eidda so dem turning the baby over to my other sister as foster parent on Tuesday. She advised them dat me and MrK wants to adopt the baby so they are aware of that.

I am so glad that the baby will be back with us and then we can take it from there.

am curious so i have to ask..given that she had the track record, why did the family not intercede before the fact rather than after the fact...i.e. go wid har to di delivery, mek arrangements before di delivery etc etc etc....true, it is an emotional time and everybody ha dem own life to live, but am curious why noone anticipated dis move on har part and took di time to head off the future work and heartache fi get di chile...
obviously the concern is there

she is 23 years old live somewhere on her own. She don't discuss nothing with us..she constantly hide from us, whateva wi know or find out is pry wi pry and fas ina har business. It's easier said than done but there is no way my other sister or brothers can &quot;take&quot; her to the delivery etc,. If it wasn't for concern citizens we wouldn't really know what's going on seeing that she doesn't live with the family.

oh good..
step- start to find an agency in your homestate that will be willing to do the homestudy for a JA adoption. They will also be responsible for finalizing the adoption.

Ask families who have adopted in your home state. This will give you a feel for what agencies are out there and their reputations.
