Immodest Nursing Mothers Should be Ashamed

Yes breastfeeding is natural but it can be done discretely. On the way back from Montreal, the lady across from us on the train brought a huge shawl and wrapped it around herself African style to provide support for the baby and also ensure that she was covered. Then she moved to an area that was more private. This was a white lady.

I was most surprised to find a Black lady likely African she and the child had both fallen fast asleep with her shirt pulled up and her tittie visible. There is no excuse for this.

Why should she be ashamed of doing what comes naturally to provide nutrition to her child? Too bad she fell asleep. If ppl including you think a breastfeeding mom who feels comfortable to do so without covering up should be covered then you should all cover your heads.

She should be ashamed of herself for not being more discrete. All it would have taken was a light shawl not even as elaborate as what the other women had.

I've been there and always was discrete and modest...always.
