there was a diplomat pikney that used to go to my prep school and she used to smell high (we were about 9, 10 i think)...nobody teased her - to her face...that is....

mi madda used to seh dat to mi and mi breddah. now mark you back in the days mi nuh think we did use deodorant at age 9 ish, but if she said it she should have offered up a solution to us \0/

she tell mi seh she did sniff im down the day im did come home from school and noh smell a ting..

so mi did try tell ar seh it could be possible especially if he is bathing hhimself he can miss spots (mi still do spot check & supervisory bathing). Plus it could also just be perspiration cause dem had just come in from playing outside but still.

we use the crystal here and yes toms of maine is a good one too

but mi kinda surprised bout the principal a tell him bout haircut unless is a lighthearted comment he was making cause is not catholic school whe dam can seh dem tings dere.

I know a few people in which the whole family has the same very strong body odour. yet no one dare to tell them. so they are isolated, and blames it on other reasons.
Incidentally normal deodorant will not cure ut. yes it is actually curable. Unless there is a underlying ilness, .
even diabetes,can profice a fruity odour.

he is a big child for his age (close to 5' tall and bout 100 lbs) - he is 9 so I personally think other things may be happening

but the way she is carrying on it seems like the whole school is out for this child -- he is having a hard year with his teacher and she has had togo to school a few times

hopefully she will heed my advice and talk to the nurse about the odor issue

one time me did go in to volunteer in bigga beans class right after PE...and me did ketch a whiff of the whole class...2nd grade..i think by third grade most parents aware, that there may be the need for Toms

The rule of <span style="font-weight: bold">nose</span> is that if th eclothes they take off smells different frm the clean one,they need it to go to school.
and most of the times they do. better safe than sorry. it is a very damahing thing for a child that age to be told that they smells.

</div></div> I would wager that he has a oerspiration problem, under thise circumstances. that would pount to the need to change his clothes. It would be a more g=regular than normal experience too. .
I think that schools could make it mandatsry to use deofotant gpt all kids. althoigh at9 he shoyld be at least dried og by a parent so that they can evaluate how will they bathe.

I have to agree..

girlKia is in an afterschool program and I asked her if he smells funny sometimes and she said, his socks are really stinky..

now to break this to the unaccepting parent
