but to you folks that are, how do you stand it sometimes to see this kid that you love with all your heart look like a grown-up all of sudden

I was on FB and saw a picture of one of my god-kids in this suit and I just about died....well I started to cry

He is in his early twenties now, just gorgeous to look at; smart as a whip; and travelling the globe with his best friend. Just the most poised and accomplished young man.

I am so proud of him my heart feels to burst but oh man, that baby I used to play with is gone and it hit me - who is only his godmom - like a ton of bricks


unno is good, for real.

I must say, I was taken aback by my own reaction when I saw my godkid. There is just no denying that he is a man now.

Lordy I'm going thru that now, my son is home from college just finishing his first year.

I told him couple days ago that I'm proud of where he is in life right now but I kinda want my baby back.

He gave me but then gave me a big hug

Ms Exced I can only guess what that feel like. You are proud that they have grown up so nicely but yeah man, you want the little baby too

He used to cuddle and kiss me all the while when he was small and some days I miss that Nothing like a cubby set of arms around your neck telling you that you are the best

before you know it the other 2 will be just as big so you have more crying to do ... I do understand why some people have babies all the time as I miss adale's baby stages sometimes even though I am so proud of him.

little Miss passed on a message from her mom to me the other day.....said it is high time I come get *her* and take her shopping since it has been a while that *I* have had a baby fix

i just saw a teenage boy at the library wid him 1/2 way slouching pants.
