The daughter turns 17 this month and........................

she is so damn cranky and moody that I sometimes don't even want to talk to her when I get home.
There's always some flippin thing that has her ticked off either at school or when she comes home.

Good Lord, I can't wait for her to graduate and hit the freakin road!! I love her to death but she is getting on my nerves now more than ever!!!!

aaaahhh, seventeen....I survived those years somehow. Remember not to feed into the drama - any reaction you have should (hopefully, whenever possible) be calm and steadfast.

My son once told me &quot;I hope you don't need me for anything cuz I'm not doing it!&quot; I said &quot;Cool, let's play who needs who first.&quot; It wasn't even 15 minutes before I hear, &quot;I NEED a ride to work.&quot;

I think 17 is nature's way of preparing us to fling the little birdies out the nest.
