I think it can be a good experience for kids - with certain limitations or guidelines though, (especially not to take over being 'a kid' nor to an extreme like beauty pageant stuff.

both me and my little brother did the baby/child model thing when we were young.

it was no big deal to do so.

I was on the quiet side, so sometimes I didnt like all the fussing business. But on some occasions like trips outside the city for outdoor shoots, it was kinda fun.

Depends on your kid's personality as well. May not suit all kids regardless.
