End of year gifts

lawd the cycle continues mi tired just thinking bout all a dis


so the end of the school year is here. and the class parents are collecting money for end of year gifts for the teachers.

dont know if I want to participate in that mess




what are you guys giving for teachers gifts ?

suckuptery tek place during the school year is end a year now and all grades are in no need to suck up

plus mi nevah contribute to xmas gift collection suh mi feel bad

i contributed to the class gift in both cases.

and the class parent got american express gift cards (the one where dem can spend it anywhere..cant remember the correct name right now)

skells mi know yuh not tracing me

we dont do it for every holiday for the teachers but remember that they are underpaid so any likkle extra cash dem get will help. the board of ed has a limit on 5.00 per child. so by time each parent contribute 25*5=125.. so it kinda nice for them to get a likkle ting to purchase a book for themselves.

de class parentazis are putting together a beach gift basket where we the parent contribute an item to it

she have sunscreen, beach hat, towel so mi gwine add one book to it

yes i know they do this, because sometimes they ask the parents to send in certain items and they always say that if the parent can't send it to let them know, and they will *make sure* that each child gets the item.

this mean to me that dem dipping into dem own pocket, or using one of them gift certificates fi buy tings fi the class and children.
