How do unoo keep unoo kids toys under control?

Mi at mi wits end.

Mi mek a playroom downstairs a while back..fine...but now is summer time and all di toys dem a migrate come upstairs like how we nuh spen much time down dere anymore

Mi nuh know wah mi nuh tep pan..mi dis clean awnda dem bed and di mount a toys mi fine awnda deh...

mi get mad an fling di whole a dem back dungstairs but knowing sarah dem will be back up here by weekend...

what to do?

juss tek away half and hide it. then swap it out every once in awhile when it look like dem a get bored wid what dem have.

get a toybox and put in the corner somewhere upstairs.

mek sarah do a clean up before bedtime and put her toys in there.

but everytime we clean up all of a sudden she waan play wid dem

mi dis tek weh all di toys...and 98% a di stuffed animals an fling dem down stairs so dem fawt...

a mean...i put these kids to bed and den di older one get up an start trash di room and will give abi things like books an small toys..abi mussi go thru 3 book so far...

lawd kids will be kids. mek di pickney dem ramp. before u know it dem grow up and stawt play wid toys weh u no know bout. den u be wishing dem was still at home messing up di place wid stuffed animals.

either get rid of the surplus or make another room upstairs for the play room if dem not gwine guh dungstairs

Poil dem poil. Oonu knoa wha mi have fi a toy wen mi was a pickney...a cawdboad bax. An wen mi dun play wid ie, mi madda dash ie wey. Dem pickney yah too happy.

Another remedy is to start a system where if they want a new toy to play with, they have to put one other away first... final resort is... &quot;I'm gonna throw these toys away if you don;t pick them up!&quot; and follow through (only as far as putting an amount into a garbage bag, and hiding it somewhere for a while)

i had lots of dolls but i remember one summa mi go spen holiday wid one a mi less fortunate cousin and she showed me how to make dolly out of plastic drink bottle and use grass for the hair. it was so cool...wen i went back home i made some and mi granny dash dem weh seh a rubbish

yuh memba wen boys use to mek trucks ouf of juice boxes? man dem was some a di bestes chucks i ever see. kids use to be so creative.
