She will adopt it and use ut in the future as a means to communicate her disagrements too. At her age she is nit really telling you toshuoup as we understand it. She is simply trying to immitate you as all children learn by doing.

Doc she gets sent to her room for time outs...I have her stand with her face to the wall...now she has a thing ever since I could remember where she would bang her head on purpose when she is angry...how can I break her out of this? I used to yell at her then I read somewhere where they said to ignore her and she will stop doing it. She does not do it as often but she still does it. Is this normal????

banging her head when she is angry is really common in young children. believe it or not when they are that young they believe that you feel what they do and don't feel what they don't. That is why they will hurt others and laugh. because they really don't know that it hurt any one else.
The way to get her to stop banging her head, is to look at her with an alarm on your face. you ask her if she want to ruin her brain and they get really think. then tel her that that is what happen to people who bang their heads. she will get the message, if you look really concerned. otherwise she wont. and do that every time she does and she will stop it sooner than you think.
