Re: Do you remember your first dolly?
It's like I'm looking at her right now. I was around 5 or 6 and my grandmother came to Jamaica from New york (the first time I ever saw her) She brought me this huge pretty doll, she was black and wore a plaid skirt outfit. A tag on her skirt said "hold my left hand and I will walk with you" and she did
did name her though.

Re: Do you remember your first dolly?
I do too... my mother's baby brother came to visit when I was 5 - at first meeting, to me he seemed so tall and handsome, and he brought me a doll which I named Pamela... at some point she got sick, and died... and I buried her near the front yard.
I never saw that uncle again until many many years later... when my own son was 5. (to realize he was not tall, and no longer handsome) Never saw him again. He passed away almost 5 years ago.
