Mi haffi tell har mikase tek out di cream. Mi seh all tears ah come fram mi yeye dem.

She wash out di cream. Mi ah yell tell har fi wash it again. Den before mi ketch miself mi stawt cuss har off...

Mi hear one shampoo gyal seh, "She pregnant or something? Only the pregnant clients act like that?"

Then mi hear mi hairdresser seh, "ILP, you're not pregnant are you?"

Mi shame suh till....

then she understand and u can go back... u deserve another one thing I like about pregnancy it allows you to express your emotions and get away with it.

she could see di expression on mi face when she ask me. She look pon mi ahn seh, "ILP, you could've told me that you were pregnant. How far along are you?"

So mi ah look pon har like why does it matter?

Well she peeps daht too ahn seh, "What? [wid dis "duh, you eediat" voice] are you 6 weeks, 2 months, 3 months, what?" Ya'll she was really annoyed.

Mi tell har mi 10 weeks. Mi hear har seh..."Oh, my God." ahn den she walk off....

Mi hear she tell smaddy gi har some 3 in one (or some such).

she will use someting a little gentler ILP that's why she questioning u ... no it dont mean u life over ... I just means that you will have to say you are pregnant to some people because it will affect the products they use and how they use them...etc

no your life is not over. this is 2009. women can color and creme hair still while pregnant.

disclaimer: check with your ob/gyn to ok it first as they would know best what you can and cannot do safely for the next 9mths based on underlying health issues

couple points

1. please read the book, it nah guh kill yuh fi read it one time and then yuh can put it back pan the bookshelf. (you will find the info in deh bout the cheese and fish too)

2. fi yuh really like yuh hairdresser, send one cyard or some flowers guh give har, tell har seh yuh sorry yuh nevah know and blame it pan the belly. it is difficult to find a stylist that we like so when we do, we try to make it work. mi know she will appreciate the gesture.

i had that What To Expect book too, and found it very useful.
