Newborn can experience excretion of blood, even without injury. sometimes it's umbilical blood.
That is one of the reason for AGPAR score.

All babies are born with cracked skull. as a matter of fact their skull is actually in 3 separate pieces, with enough space to expose areas of the brain.

Doc the skull is not cracked it is in 3 separate pieces as you say...I am pretty sure whoever observed the baby saw something outside the normal realm of what is acceptable for a baby with an unfused skull...

You would be surprised how many people who are supposed to know stuff, is completely ignorant of what they are doing.

Newborn skull cannot be cracked. It Si soft and pliable. That is why if you leave them on their crib for too long they develop flat head back.
That is what i reserved to include in my original statement. so as to keep the conversation going.
