eat
run
bathe/get dressed
visit hairdresser

all the rest is negotiable.

me memba one nite everybody a sleep (mr and mi modda) and the baby start cry, suh me pick him up.

and it was one a those nites when as soon as me put him down...him start bawl again, for no reason...suh me a hold him and walk wid him for what seemed like a long time (at least 30 mins if me a memba correctly)

me did need fi use the facilities, and me put him down fi bout 1 minute, and guh.

when me come back, me see the two a dem (mr and modda) by the crib a look pon me and ask if me neva hear the baby crying ...and why me neva tek him up

so to ansa the question sometimes me did lucky if me get fi guh bachroom

Mi shame fi say mi had an angel of a sister living with me that when the little tyke got big enough to talk and woke up for tea in the night I would tell him go tell your auntie and him would call her by name and go wake her up ...

personally i never like to leave my very young baby in the crib a bawl

me wouldn't be able to sleep in any case...that did happen @ nite, so me might as well did pick him up

Wait you a come yuh wi si ...they have other emotions besides being wet and hungry so you can stay there ... plus if you have work fi go the next morning getting your sleep is most important ... I used to wake up and bathe while him still a purr like one puss ...

some dads think that taking care of babies = play wid dem wen dem feel like..change diaper and gi dem bokkle...

some don't want to bathe dem, clean ears, clean gums, cut nails, comfort when bawling, give dem massage, and whatever other needs a young baby might have...so all a dese additional pampering leff squarely pan di madda wan...

even fi carry di baby wid dem wen dem a go out by demself is a chore some guys nuh waan fi do..yet madda muss luggu wid di pickney dem whicheva weh dem a go

please dem well an hear...di man use to do that wid mi til wen mi know seh di kids dem big enuff fi tek bawlin mi ignore dem an turn off mi ears so wen him si mi nah fawt pan dem him will get up...or if nobody nuh hear dem den dem learn fi comfort demself an go back to sleep...took Sarah 8 weeks and Abi 17 weeks....
