MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — A toddler who fell several storeys at Pearson International Airport has died.
The child fell from the upper departures level in terminal one to the lower arrivals level on Sunday night.
Const. Jodi Dawson says "this was an unfortunate accident."
She says that the boy’s death Sunday night is not considered suspicious and there was no foul play involved.
Police say the boy, who is about 15 months old, was with his parents at the time.
He was rushed to hospital with what appeared to be serious injuries.
Sgt. Peter Riemenschneider from Peel Regional Police says they are interviewing witnesses.
