Nesting actually signal the onset of real labour. So if you are not that far gone, You don't experience it yet. Nesting include the compulsive urge to. What you are edxperiencing is late stage hormones ecsessive estrogen and pitocin. this creates a feeling of caring, but it is not the act of nesting. Nesting is a really crazytime and itlast only about 12 to 24 hours. [sweep and rearrange the furniture. Encloses excessive energy and strength, impatience with those who try to discourage these acts. Incidentally it will be expressed wherever you are, even if it is not your home.

I had a Moses basket for my daughter, we put it right between mom and dad and she slept there for a couple months (or until she was able to turn herself over, around then)
Just got a "pack and play" for same daughter who is expecting her first daughter in March.....
It's amazing how little is really necessary: Love, safe place to sleep, clean clothes and good food, add a car seat and a stroller for mobility and you're good to go.
