Do you allow your children into your bedroom freely? Can they play in there?

Our bedroom policies have been revised over the years
When they were babies - it was open door so we could hear them in their room
When they were toddlers - open door. They would climb into our bed in the middle of the night. We were so exhausted, we hardly noticed. <span style="font-style: italic">The younger son basically set up residence in our bedroom until he was about 8</span>
When they were teens - we got a key for our bedroom to lock them out whether we were home or not.

open door. only the cats are barred from my room at night. one of my teens sometimes comes into my bed if she see a scary movie and cyaan sleep, but my snoring eventually drives her out.

I was just wondering. We have a somewhat open door policy and like peasie we still a try get one de kids out of the bedroom at 8
Yessideh mi catch dem in deh a do cartwheels \o/ - so I have to develop new rules such as do not go in there unless I send you for something in there or we are in the room and invite you in .If you don't fight for what you deserve, you deserve what you get.

Open door policy. When he was little, he was not allowed to bring his toys in my room. If the door is open, he was/is free to enter.

we were allowed if the door was opened, but as it is 10 of wi...the door was rarely opened
we were threatened with death if we went in our parents bedroom if they were not in it or not home.
ok, dem neva threatened to kill us, but i am sure mi muddah had super powers and could tell if we even went near them door ahn inhaled the air

You too will have these super powers by the Spring, ILP
As soon as the baby arrives, the strangest thing will happen to you. You will develop eyes in the back of your head, arms that can reach from the driver's seat to the rear of a minivan to smack a child, etc.
