Parents were you and your spouse agreeable on the amount of kids you wanted. Did one spouse have an unreasonable request like honey you know I want four kids right

Did you come right out and ask and who is going to have the other three or two seeing that I only plan on having X amount. Just wondering when men make these request on the amount of kids they want if they stop to consider the pain that is involved.

Is it because they are not having/cannot have kids why them want dem hole heap a pikni. Did you get to the point where you told him go pop them out yuself.

I am trying to turn over a new leaf for 2010 and not tell dis man some choice wuds bout the amount of pikni him want.

So please help me out her...please and thank you.

i think u should talk about it and agree. its always better that way. sometimes men dont think about the woman when they talk about having umpteen kids

if u have a limit then you need to make it perfectly clear that you only want X amount and thats it. kids are expensive so you can also remind him of all the money that goes into raising children and maybe that might make him reconsider although with some men that doesnt matter since they will take care of a million babies if they made them.

but definitely talk it through and TRY to come to an agreement before u tell the man to go pop them out himself

Good that you both are negotiating this before there are any surprises and before a wedding

I would say ditto to what Fancy has said but also mention the time involved it takes to raise children.

Have a discussion with him on how you both plan to raise the kids

Do you both have similar styles of parenting?

Who is the enforcer?

What faith will the children be raised?

Are you discipline styles similar.

ahm in his case he will have to understand that video games will probably have to go on the back burner for a number of years as children learn from what is around them

Where will the children go to school?


Just keep asking a lot of questions about the work involved with raising kids and I am sure the number of kids he wants will start to go down

you bring up stuff that i didn't even give much though to
I know I will be the enforcer eg. hey pikni doan do that, second time wone lick a joke. I have no patience with small kids really. I will admire other people kids but once they start act up am gone, or a baby start crying I disappear so fast. I have been told that all that will change once I have my own.

I can see him staying up nights, feeding, patience, he is really good with kids. We both agree on one thing no hitting of kids.

Neither one of us are church goers regularly, but we both believe in that higher being. Now the video games I think that bwoy will be doing the video game thing all when him reach 50.

I was raised Anglican, so is he even though we do not attend church regularly, outside of christening I don't think either one of us will enforce the regular attendance of church, am not going to lie.

To be honest really my only concern on so many kids was the childbirth pain we know that we do not want the public school system.

in mi younga days fantasized about having six kids. then i got married.

hubby wanted one. i didn't want only child, don't like kids growing up alone. so i made sure to have two.
