I am a black woman whose mother had NO CLUE how to do my hair when I was a kid
Thank God for her that I loved afro-puffs on either side of my head put in clips otherwise she would have suffered even more
Subsequently, I didnt grow up knowing how to do cornrows or anything more complicated than afro-puffs as well. So the goal is to have all boys
(semi-joke. I am just gonna build in a hair salon amount to the household budget if I have a girl
)
I know this is all meant as a joke but I dont see it so funny for the sole reason that as Zahara gets older and is able to understand all this media attention over her hair, she will start to have issues with her appearance because now she is conscious of the world scrutinizing her.
The irony of all these do-gooders that want to chastise Bragelina about the child's hair.
