Mi Nephew

had an accident yesterday due to "pranks" played by high school kids. thought it would be "funny" to loosen the front tire on his bicycle.

Leaving school for the day he didn't even make it 5 feet from the bike rack. the tire pop off an him land on a concrete retainer wall on his FACE.

After a million hours in the emergency last night, he had surgery today. Jaw wired shut and a metal plate screwed into his chin and his top lip reattached.

Here he is about an hour after surgery

The doctors did a good job at reattaching his lip though...

@ CB yes he was lucky they put him in the burn unit with the top notch plastic surgeons

The by part now is that whoever did it messed his face up.

It is going to take a lot of work to remove the scars from his face.

It's a Damn shame.

thanks all a unno.

As for the scars...he had a plastic surgeon from the burn unit so it should be minimal. The biggest is on the chin which won't be too disfiguring. The one on the lip was all stiched on the inside.

The metal plate....mi not sure if it is permanent

and yes nunya noh muss the HABS
