If you plan to give your kid a day off from school to play hookey where is a good place to go


7/8 of boykia class going on a school trip.. Him did too stoosh fi sign up fi chorus and band ( 7/8 of the grade take chorus or band) so im haffi siddung one side. It is going to be a nice day tomorrow so was thinking of some Mom & son time but was looking something fun to do that does not involve going where the school trip.

Museum ? Kinda boring fi dat
Beach ?
Brooklyn Museum & Library?
Brooklyn for Patties?

Take him to lunch then just stroll around a mall and buy his favorite video game. Don't make it into a "learning experience"

mi need to sweeten the deal.. I like the video game option but since the video dem not connected it noh have no weight (basement still under remoggle)

Kia as yuh a talk bout Museum .. M goh google up some museum ina di Annapolis area fi tek Wendy2 to an wi went to this wan Satiday gaan .... Lawd a massy ..di place was nutten like wey di website sey .. Di place have wan lilly rabbit itch up ina wan cage an 2 lilly turkle ina wan sand heap can bearly move

Now she is a child that love interactive things .. but all di toys dem had dere were duds! Afta wi spin roun tree time ina di place mi ask har if shi ready.

Wi ended up strolling in the mall ... had some icecream.. kicked back and went home. She seemed to have enjoyed that more.

Interestingly, the Baltimore zoo has a great children's pet the animals exhibit but dat was over 10 years ago! . Mi used to tek di boys to Annapolis an mek dem walk round the Naval Academy an dem climb on di plane dem (Navy have Blue Angels). Den buy summpn from di gift shop. Den wi go an walk ovah to dock area and look at yachts and eat ice cream.
