one a mi FB friends dat grow up wid me in ja who now living in canada she had a baby recently and mi notice di piece a red string tie up round di pickney hand. back home dem alway do dat fi so duppy no play wid the baby or something so. same like keeping a bible pan di bed turn no psalms...mi not even memba which psalms. dem also used to say dont hold the baby in a way that he/she is looking behind you wen u walk(especially a nite) bcus duppy will play wid the baby.
mi no know how duppy love baby so
is the same as wen nebody in ur house die ur supposed to wear a black string around you wrist. if ur husband/man die u wear eidda black or red undies mi no member rite now. apparently the dead man will try come back fi a likkle piece
