Dis young girl can be a pleasant young miss so it was quite a surprise to me when Granny teling me seh that she not so happy with young girl's stance on the grandmother issue.

Young girl actually seh, "You should drop everything to be with my children...especially when I want to go out!"

that's pretty much how my mother would be...if we lived in the same country.

but since me and baby doan too get along i don't think i will be that type of granny.

She nu haffi be here and whatever she do for me is just that.

...dats wat mi seh tuh...when Granny was telling mi di story, she was so curious as to why di girl wud even think it much less say it.

I was disappointed because I met the young girl through my job and she impressed me as a go-getter, businesslike type of person. She moved here from somewhere else so she noh really have no family <span style="font-style: italic">as such</span> fi depend on like dat <span style="text-decoration: underline">SO</span> mi tink seh she woodan work out har biznizz as in seeking supportive babysitting services and sharing duties wid boyfren.

Well, Missy knowing that help not available like dat...still forged ahead and had anneda baby...and now mekking granny know seh ah <span style="text-decoration: underline">Granny duty</span> fi help har wid di pickney dem...

A little help from Granny is fine every now and then but fi expeck seh afta granny raise fi har owna children dem shi fi come now and raise fi yuh own is a bit much...amd a lot of dat gwine awn.

It's still ridiculous.

While I think the babys' mother is ridiculous for expecting MIL to drop everything and mind the kiddies, I think it is equally ridiculous of MIL to think that DIL go 'breed pon purpose'...(paraphrasing)

And if MIL neva say dat or mean dat, den Shandra is ridiculous fi saying it. And if she neva say dat or mean dat, den I am ridiculous fi tinking dat she say it.
