Stormmey I am not sure if I can really explain it to you...I come from a cultural background where our parents prided themselves on &quot;not eating from other people&quot; or going to &quot;odda peeple yawd&quot; . To this day my mother will not eat out at a restaurant...if I bring the food home she will warm it up and eat it

I guess some of that has rubbed off on me. I got an invite a month ago from another mom to come over for dinner with the kids and I have not gone yet. She is Guyanese and her husband is Ethiopian...cho! I really need to broaden my horizons.

Yes I can relate the granperes are like that and my Mom is the Queen of standoffish she will not eat from certain nationalities :seled: mattaofact if yu not swedish or Canadian she doan wone eat from yu. They accuse me of <span style="font-weight: bold">wel ata fran var och en </span>Jamaicans call it <span style="font-weight: bold">nyami nyami</span> even so I do not eat japanese food, vietnamese food, some African Food I don't like. I eat everything jamaican that not moving

but skelly my parents and in laws always at them friend yard and always a guh friend house fi dinner and invite people to dinner. I think is mussi the next generation of jcans that get anti-social

as a mother u haffi sacrifice fi u child...just count this as one of them
