I got them on Friday and now I need to go thru the drama of figuring out how to get them on my computer and then send them to Seveen again. I am pitiful when it comes to those things. I don't have a date because I still have to talk to the Attorney to verify he has everything he needs to present our case to the Judge. Then the Judge will set a date to go in and finalize the adoption. I am told that it usually takes less than 2 weeks, but somehow they cannot locate her original birth certificate that was gotten back in August of 07! Now I have to send them her immunization records so that they can request another one.

I have an original but I don't dare give it because I will never see it again we all concur. I want to save it for Kimmy when she is an adult because it may come in handy if she has to locate her birth mother. We will get a new one and they both will be framed and tucked away for safe keeping.

Provided they don't take their time getting that we can move right along. I am so relieved that we are almost there! God has definitely been on our side. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/notworthy.gif[/img]

Sorry I have not gotten the pictures on here yet. I have been busy with work, Union duties, planning a Baby Shower for a co-worker and chasing Ms.Kimmy. I don't know how I do it. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/dizzy.gif[/img]

Anyhow, I got a call from the Adoption Attorney yesterday and she emailed me the 3 important docs I have to get back to her. DFCS sent me the papers today officially releasing Kimmy to me for Adoption. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/dance01.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/discosmilie.gif[/img] Once I get her those papers back, she will call me to tell me the play by play of how things will go up until the Judge sets the finalization date. So we should be done by months end. Finally!

Now I have to work on the Adoption Celebration party. I've got the list, the menu and the order of the program. Now I need to rent the proper place. My Church would be ideal but I don't know how they will respond seeing I gave up my membership and all but we still visit them from time to time. I want to keep this as low budget as I can. Daycare gave me a $100 a month break. Thank God!! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/notworthy.gif[/img]
