Apparently she was pretty angry because her children weren't invited to a party that happened <span style="text-decoration: underline">two years ago</span>.

Since then, she's urged the kid to just die and applauded the death of the child's mother.

Only now, that her husband's been suspended from his job and is in jeopardy of losing same, is she trying to apologise.

That and the fact that people from other places than just her small home town, is lighting up her a**....

Jennifer Petkov Arrested for Assault

Jennifer Petkov just doesn’t get it, there are certain rules of behavior to live in a civilized society, and if you make a BIG mistake, you might want to lay low for awhile. That is if you are truly sorry for your actions.

Jennifer Petkov is in the news again. She was arrested Wednesday, October 13, 2010 on assault charges for allegedly trying to run down a neighbor with her car, (not one of the Edwards family) . Petkov, who had used facebook to harass a dying 7 year old girl because of a feud between the girls grandmother and herself, was released from jail after a $75,000 bond was posted.

&quot;Last summer, she threatened me. Told me she was going to kill me,&quot; said Tana Boling, the latest victim of Petkov’s rage. Wednesday, Boling was crossing the street to talk with Rebecca Rose, the grandmother of Kathleen Edwards, the 7 year old suffering from Huntington’s Disease, which was taunted by Petkov and her husband Scott, when Petkov allegedly drove out her driveway and directly toward Boling.

&quot;When I got like so far out in the street, she (came) speeding out of the driveway right towards me, and if I wouldn't (have) got out of her way there's no doubt she would have hit me,&quot; Tana Boling said.

There is no information available as to the problems between Petkov and Boling.

Kathleen Edwards, 7, is in the end stages of Huntington's Disease, a degenerative brain disease which her mother died from in 2009. Because of a long running feud between Kathleen's grandmother, Rebecca Rose, and Jennifer Petkov, Petkov posted photo-shopped photos of Kathleen's mother in the arms of the grim reaper and of Kathleen super imposed over a skull and crossbones.

After local news broke the story of the harassment of the Edwards family, the Petkov’s issued an apology, some believe in an effort on Scott Petkov’s part to keep his job after being put on paid leave for the incident. The Petkov’s home has been egged and the couple received death threats as well as a visit from CPS following the taunting incident was aired on Fox2 Detroit News. It is reported that Jennifer Petkov was placed on 6 months probation for disorderly conduct back in July. She is now being charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of reckless driving, in this current event. If convicted she faces 4 years in prison.

The Pekov's refused to speak to reporters instead called local police to convey the message to reporters.

Petkov’s lawyer told reporters that there is a surveillance video that will show that the neighbors are exaggerating this latest incident, but refused to share the video with Fox2 Detroit. He believes the video will be enough to convince the prosecutor to drop all charges.

The silver lining in this story is that over $20,000 in donations have been given to the Edwards family and there has been an out pouring of support. It is reported that the family took Kathleen on a $2000 toy shopping spree, where her first purchase was a toy frog for her father. The family has donated the rest of the money to a children’s hospital.

It is mind boggling that Jennifer Petkov is a mother and that she seems to have no control over her behavior, nor a clue as to the horrendous example she is setting for her children. It is reported that one of her children had been sent home from school because he was being taunted by other children because of his mothers actions.

It is amazing to watch the community come together to support and comfort Kathleen and her family. This horrible ordeal has also brought Huntington’s Disease into the spot light.

Tryna run ova de neighbour, or at least 'play chicken' wid har, is prolly badass... taunting a child is sick. Which is why I'm inclined to think Petkov is sick... in the head...

btw, just read that she's just lost custody of two of her kids... wonder if this'll make her stop and think, or if this'll push her even closer to the edge...
