I am getting tired of these school fundraisers

Sar started pre-school in Sept at this Catholic sch nearby. There is not a day that goes by that they don't have something going on. The tuition is expensive enough but my God....every week dem begging sitten....we had the option to opt out of the events and pay $100 extra on the tuition but mi never pay it...good thing cuz i would still end up being suckered into these events even tho mi pay already...

Is eedah dem do fundraising or them tack on the money to the tuition and raise it by 75%.

This public school goal last year if a member right was half a mill \o/ or sitten ridiculously close

there are parents who don't contribute any money but still get the benefit of the funds raised

still mi tired a them, mi never tell dem fi have all sorta dance and warra warra extra program

When I read the title, and then saw the bolded, a heavy sigh lef mi body fi you.. Both of my kids came through that System.. MANDATORY $175 sell per child. for fundraisers. all you don't make in sells, comes from your pocket, but you mus come with the $175..

Lawd BINGO... HARVEST FEST... SPRING FLING.... the list goes on...

I always buy from the Fundraisers.. I know the feeling... so I try to support it..

What you selling Skells.. come mek I look.. I can.t seem to find the bamboo reversible calendars that I used to get all the time... you have those??? a serous mi serous..

you serious Jamerooman, good thing they did not have a parent like my granmere, she used to tell them she pay tuition and they should stop acting like she owe them something. Matterfact she sent note to my school telling them I came there to learn, and they should not send anything home with me again to sell to anyone. She did this because she said she did not like their attitude.

With my most recent involvement with parent council and seeing the difference the parent council fundraising make in the school considering the limitations of the school budget from the govt (and PZ dont come say anything bout Canada) the fundraising gets my support... It actually cost less to participate in the fundraising than if them should ask us to give them money.

but annoying as they are you know it benefits the students at school.

Our PTA fundraising has purchased FM systems and whiteboards for the entire elementary school so mi cyan really complain
