when i was 4 i was never a finger sucker til mi si a fren dweet an mi go tek ie up..my mother threatened to use a dinner knife fi cut dem off and actually started sawing away at the fingers dat was di last day mi suck mi finger

eidda dat or u just low har to time. i wouldnt bother with the braces until she stop sucking cus wats the point? she only undo wat the braces a try fix. just hope a pray dat by time she ketch 12 she stop and u can get har the braces then.


mi bredda ooman have a likkle 2 yr old and she pick out her hair. she will just sit there and pick at it. especially at bed time. the whole a har head side pick out.

yes i believe in time outs but more importantly i believe in knowing ur child and his/her persona and knowing wat works for that child. mi can count the few times mi had to get licks at home. i was the type a child u can talk to an mi behave or atleast i was smart enough to only misbehave wen no big ppl no deh round.

Wendy...........leave her alone............she will stop not when you want but when she wants to..............my sister was a thumb sucker up until she was 13 then she stop............my son was the same .............he stop when he started first grade...........you going to frustrate yourself trying to get her to stop.
