Yuh feel mi twines ? I can barely chaperone the one child that belongs to me, let alone help to chaperone around 80 kids. Legend has it that each hotel room has a chaperone, suh yuh inna one bedroom wid 2 or 3 pikney weh a talk non stop.

I chaperoned the class in 3rd grade once, on a ferry, I wanted to stab myself in the eye

Cho just mek the 2 a unno go pon unno own time.. Amtrak in and walk, cab, subway all deh bout. BTW the museums at the Mall are all free

My daughter told me she was 8 when she went.. not seven..

The school organise a year 6 trip skiing every year age 10... so they go.. they are not allowed mobile phones.. can only take 5 pounds pocket money.. They cant call home.. There was a phone number to call to check status...arrival what they did that day.. number of parents volunteers went ... I volunteered but my daughter vetoed going as I am offically the most embarrassing Dad in the world..(Thought her schooler friends think I am the silliest Dad ever!!!)..

The teacher did call to check if it was ok to give her some paracetomol as she was a bit hot...

abu - almost 15-years old - hasn't done any overnight trips with the school - heck - i barely let him spend the night with his friends - or them over here - i don't like that &quot;spend the night&quot; stuff

i didn't even let him go to universal studios - 2 hour drive - for his 8th grade class trip - i hate those school bus trips too

but this week he is going to go to savannah - for his first college tour - bus leaves at 7am - and gets back at 6pm - lunch at the lady and sons

this summer - teen club - is going to washington dc for 3 nights for college tours - at first i was like no way on the bus for 12-15 hours

but i found out they are flying - so he's going - i'm not going

he's old enough to report in and he's not going to let anyone molest him - we've had nuff conversations about all that stuff

the only thing i'm thinking is - he's going to come home and not have a stitch of clothes with him - he's never had to pack before

and i'm trying to plan something for me to do - other than sit around for 3 days biting my nails

and nope he didn't do the dc trip in 5th grade with his classmates - he didn't even ask me about it - he said he knew i wouldn't go for it

so last week the teacher sent home a mass email asking that those children who werent going to respond (parents to respond) and let them know. mi figet fi respond

friday mi see the teacher and she remind mi bout the emial, mi seh oh I forgot, but no, littlegen will not be going to washington. she seh okay have a good weekend yada yadda


today, the other teacher in the class sent me an email.
