So my Niece has a friend that I have been close to since they were in grade 3 together.

Since she was 9 she used to say that when she turn 16 she was going to move in with me because all her older siblings he Mom kicked them out when they turned 16. I always took it as a joke.

She always reffered to me as her adopted mother ......

Today she txted me.

Said her mother said she needs to find elsewhere to live.

She reminded me of "our arrangement"

She is now 16

why does she put them out when they get to 16.....not even finish their Education.....self sufficient....if you can accomadate her please do. I would take her in.....the Mom sound so harsh.....but then I don't know her reason....but 16

Mi noh know....yet... the mom is a skettel from the little I know of her

BUT the girl is kinda wild as well (since shi get grown)

I'd take her in but not before at least trying to have a conversation with the mother. How many children does the mother have and how many are left under 16? Sounds like somebody needs to send her to Judge Hatchett.

Also, the girl needs a good understanding of the rules of the house.

But in the end, yes I would take her in. How are her grades? Is she going to be ready to go to college in a couple of years?

I did not think you could put them out at 16.. still a minor... can't sign for anyting.. could not possibly be self sufficient..

I would take her in, simply because she female, but I would lay down the LAW and she would sign up to it so there is NO misunderstanding.. and you ongly get TWO STRIKE, last one you WALK..

Well I sent her a txt last night and told her that my door is always open to her.

She txt me back today to inform me that she would be paying rent as she not looking someone to stay with but a place to live and learn responsibility.

The mother has one child left under 16, all the other 4 were booted at 16.

Her grades are mediocre at best but she has ambition to go to beauty school and she is active in athletics at school (basketball) shi shawt like me

When she was 9 (I think) the cops picked her up walking home from my house because they thought she was 6
