kia, di funny ting is that there is a playground literally across the street (two lane likkle road so it nuh far) from mi house.

di ting wah did boggle mi mind too is dat dem never carry no entertainment fi di pickney dem. they drove (so had space) and this was a planned trip. i can see dat dem possibly figet it but mi was shocked! and dem also had di likkle one a drink outta mi glass dem and never seem fi have him sippy cups.

dem seemed very unprepared. the dad took them to the playground across the street and we went walking to the park and beach (again close to the house) but it just seem to get kid 1 more excited rather than wear him out :-/

ETA: maybe he does need meds

on a serious note, and i told him this. they are doing aliyah (when isreal helps repatriate dem people back home) next spring so she will be back in familiar territory. i told him that if him nuh shape up she will likely leave him at the drop of a hat once she is home and have family, friends, familiarity and more support.

I completely disagree with my brother an him wife parenting style an ketch up inna nuff war wid dem because of my opinions. The fuss ting dem tek cuss mi is

So what I did was just try to build a close relationship with the kids minus them parents and influence them with my lifestyle/moral/ethics and hope them learn from that.

It worked with the younger one (niece) but not the older one (nephew)
