If I'm at someone's house and I'm allergic to the fruit or veg they serve, I just don't have it - no need to make a fuss. Plus my friends and family cook so many different things that there's always an alternative.

I mean we went on picnics when I was younger with fried chicken, deviled eggs, sandwiches, and potato salad and not a piece of ice and nobody got salmonella poisoning.

What’s the red alert about? The children seem so fragile today that I am starting to think that maybe they need some exposure to germs or the human race will die out.

mi have one likkle cousin a merica him about 7 or 8 so
him madda claim say him allergic to every Jesus christ ting him cyan eat wheat or flour (guess is the gluten ting) him cyan nyam dairy...him cyan nyam shell fish....

him deh ja rite now and mi aunty tell mi say all weh him madda say him cyan eat she cook it geem and him a ask fi more and a 2 wks him deh deh and him no dead yet not even two heat bumps not even a maskita bite him no got

ppl like dis mek mi fraid fi leff mi pickney give nebody. i ask her what if the boy did start get sick then wat...its funny now but sheeda been ishing her pants if she geem cows milk and janga and sinting and him tek sick pan har. she a brag a tell me how she mek janga soup wid cocconut milk and dumplin etc and di boy nyam like food a go out a style.

My friend lived through the ordeal yesterday of calling 911 and having ambulance and kinda things after she accidentally pour milk gi har pickney and I have seen the pics of him when him eat something that have the things weh him allergic too but the ingedients no list that tiny detail...

That being said Tulip some ppl have genuine issues some make believe, the foods are not the same as back in the day or we never know so just make you menu have a variety of things and make ppl aware so yes if them need to bring them own food them do it.

Who thought it would come to this, but I've calmed myself. I was truly aggravated yesterday, but now we are going to grill out.

I went grocery shopping and got some ribs and chicken to go with the shrimp. We're still having pasta salad but also fruit salad.

I even bought some bratwurst. If they can't plop it in a bun then wrap it in a lettuce leaf.
