Bus stop

ok the bus stop for hs is 2 blocks away.

it has been raining all week.

a parent called me to ask if I would like to car pool a group of kids to walk the two blocks (city blocks not long blocks) to the bus stop..

de parent say well it is raining..

mi seh.. they have umbrellas

In life dem gwine haffi commute in all kinds of weather so mi feel seh dem can start now...after all it IS TWO BLOCKS

I was only trying to figure out if is storm u making the children walk in but if they can be appropriately covered from (and I dont think they are complaining to you) then go for it.

i think the act of walking to/from bus stop with his friends (it's about a 5 min walk at the end of road), makes him feel like "an adult"

but the walk with viola on him back is good cardio.

LOL. Yeah I know those few minutes before school you get in with your friends are like gold to high schoolers.

I wanted to walk to school, but my parents never let me. My younger brother did get to walk when he went to hs though. (I guess they were on some toughen up the boy, protect the girl kick.) So, as a result, I would get in trouble for talking in homeroom. You know teens have to catch up on the scoop.

no is heavy rain but not storm (shoes not soak and umbrella and rainproof jacket)

my thought is , if mi ago get in mi cyar mi might as well drive all the way to school (less than 2 miles away btw) so it better be good.

if it is more than 7 inches of unplowed snow I may soften up
