thanks ladies. u know me and mi hat dem :-). mi have a nephew who when him was round 4 used to think him can imitate mi just by putting on a hat

and mi will tek pic wid mi and dem (incl mi friend dem pickney) inna matching hats

we are well. alex still doing good. did i mention his iv line is out? yesterday he was up to 3lbs 12 oz. he is stil doing this thing that preemies do where their heart rate will suddenly fall. it come up on it own though without intervention but they say they can add caffeine to his formula to help him over this bump until the brain mature enough. he def has to stop doing that before he can go home.

he is still working on suck/swallow/breathe coordination but he wears himself out eating. he still needs his feeding tube (where they feed him his breastmilk/formula mixture thru the tube in his nose that goes into his stomach).

mi bredda leave fi go back home to new york tonight . so me one a go be mekking the treks to the hospital. might as well get used to what mi life may be like fi anedda few weeks.

him wearing clothes now too u fi see him. wil post a pic later.

alright, mi just get up fi pump (mi milk come in dese days!) and a go back a mi bed now.

yeah mi normally go back twice a day to feed and hold him and also fo talk, sing to him or play him some music.
