gen mi get dis advise too and fi drink sinting cold and lay dung pon mi left. problem is mi never seem fi have juice inna mi house and mi fridge nuh mek ice water and mi nuh keep none inna it caw mi nuh like cold water. mi drink room temp. so all mi cuda do when it happen is jiggle him, do a few jumping jacks and lay dung pon mi leff side.

but i will put a few drinks inna di fridge just in case dis happen again.

cb, di first time it happen mi swear di hospital juss did have too much time pon dem hands. caw when mi walk in bout 6pm weekday (had migraine, impaired vision and such) dem never had no one inna di waiting room. mi was back in a bed in like 5 minutes. is like dem was just was wishing fi some patients. mi deh deh a tink dem need fi move dis hospital gu dung a jubilee mek dem see how tings really run.

anyway dem call mi di next day fi see if mi alright.

woa is me

mi seh di day start awf stressful. bubba deh yah a kick up rumpus so a nuh dat.

mi hat up mi hand caw di puss almost puke pon mi furniture. mi have carpal tunnel (side effect of pregnancy) and mi hear she start heave while she on di coffee table, mi reach fi har (hurting mi hand in di process) but she jump pon di fabric sofa and was about fi barf when mi chuck har awf pon di floor (really hurting mi hand dis time )

den mi and mi mash up hand a mek mi comfort food fi breakfast. can u believe di plate a egg and plantain drap pan di floor?

mi seh all mi did waan do is just go back a mi bed but di work folks a throw mi shower todeh. so mi a go siddung right yasso till mi haffi go deh and den mi a come right back home

thanks ladies. i think this is the closest i've come to a real meltdown since first trimester

di shower was nice though. just the kind i asked for. normal people doing normal tings widdout putting mi on di spot. nuh whole heapa money nuh spend. mi get a few likkle tings and we just siddung inna di ppl dem establishment and crack joke fi a few hours

now mi deh home. missy hitch up behind me. mi resting between chores - laundry and dishes start. floors and dusting next.

mi deh pon modified bedrest

blood pressure went off di charts yessiday - well from di day before. is andrea bocelli save mi from getting admitted mi put on mi music and do mi breathing exercise weh help lower it.

mi have hornets coming into mi house fi over a week. mi nuh fraid a dem but dem is a real nuisance and mi landlord try him best fi get dem out but mi get to the breaking point a few days ago caw him cudden stop dem. anyway, him call exterminator who cyaan come caw rain a fall and rain will mek him get sting. wah bout mi who a live wid dem. him nuh tink mi could a get sting too.

anyway while mi at hospital mi tell lanlord mi a go hotel and tek it outta di rent. di damn man suggest a motel dung di road . him mussi tink mi standards dat low. in di meantime him check di house again. i guess him cleanup di 12+ weh mi refuse fi deal wid. none never inna di house when mi reach so mi decide not to go to di marriott downtown. mi find one since.

mi have guests dis weekend who come fi help mi get organized but mi deh pon modified bedrest so mi cyaan do much .

anyway, bubba is well but mi bp still high. mi a go pop more pills and hope it guh dung. see di doc tuesday and if it still high mi know dem a guh admit mi

FrenchT, you got a lot going on lady. You got to try to rest your nerves.

Good luck with your blood pressure. High blood pressure runs in my family so I have to be real careful about my sodium intake. i understand that pre-eclampsia can be a condition you get when you're pregnant though.

Hang on in there lady. You don't have too many days left until your c-section.

thanks tulip. it run inna mi family too so dis unfortunately is not pregnancy induced. it doesn't help that mi wasn't tekking di meds as prescribed. less was working and the doc knew and was cool 'till yessiday. now him a warn mi off seh mi haffi tek it (him nawffi tell mi twice dis time now) or else mi haffi come live wid him a di hosp

next time call several exterminator to make sure someone comes right away.

Mek di landlord know seh yuh really nuh inna di hackling suh if yuh ask him to do something within reason (which this was) then him need to get over it, otherwise yuh gwine do it yourself and just deduct from rent etc

yuh nuh need fi hackle up yuhself after yuh talk bout something once that's it and then yuh turn on yuh relaxing music.

oy Frenchie I know all too well how di bedrest ting go wen yu have so much fi do...well my dear...all mi can seh is tek di time fi mek sure Bubba *shudder* growing nice an healthy..babies come when dem ready fi come so yu can prep til yu blue yu will never be fully prepared til dem get yah...all di likkle details is not important fi dem so long as dem have nourishment and couple shut an pampers...yu good to go
