EXCHANGE
In Tuesday's trading session the following reflect the movement of the JSE Indices: -
The JSE Index advanced by 395.93 points (0.33%) to close at 120,385.48 points. The JSE All
Jamaican Composite Index declined by 96.31 points (0.07%) to close at 131,179.59 points
and the Jamaica Select Index declined by 11.83 points (0.34%) to close at 3,443.50 points.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 29 stocks of which 14 advanced, 9 declined
and 6 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 28,751,009 units valued at over $261.15 million. MAYBERRY INVESTMENTS
was the volume leader with 20,035,886 units (69.68%) followed by CABLE & WIRELESS(JA) with
3,804,112 units (13.23%) and D&G with 858,600 units (2.98%).
Mr. Nigel Blake, who is the Regional Director for the Caribbean, is leaving Courts (Jamaica)
Limited with immediate effect.
The Board of Directors of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited has rescheduled their April 20, 2005
meeting for Wednesday, April 27, 2005 to consider a dividend payment.
Radio Jamaica Limited acquired 20% of the shares of The Gleaner Company (UK) Limited, a
subsidiary of The Gleaner Company Limited.
