In Thursday's trading session the following reflect the movement of the JSE Indices: -
The JSE Index advanced by 82.56 points (0.06%) to close at 118,440.48 points. The JSE All
Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 173.11 points (0.13%) to close at 126,689.48 points
and the Jamaica Select Index advanced by 11.59 point(s) (0.34%) to close at 3,327.26 points.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 29 stocks of which 12 advanced, 11 declined
and 6 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 5,868,660 units valued at over $115.07 million. MAYBERRY INVESTMENTS
was the volume leader with 1,501,891 units (25.59%) followed by CARIB CEMENT with 776,661 units
(13.23%) and GLEANER with 592,056 units (10.08%).
We are in receipt of the financial statements from Seprod Limited for the 1st quarter ended
March 31, 2005.
Hamish Smith sold 175,904 shares of RBTT Financial Holdings Limited on April 8, 2005.
Goodyear Jamaica Limited has scheduled their next Annual General Meeting for Wednesday, July
13, 2005 at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
