Sending Books to Jamaican Schools

As a life-long reader and educator (I have a Ph.D.and have taught at the university level), I have acquired a great amount of books over the years. I would like to donate these books to a school in Jamaica. I have over 500 books on a variety of subjects. They are mostly for high school/college level readers. They are all in excellent condition.

Can someone please offer me some advice on how I can do this. Do you know of any charities or business group who would pay to have these books shipped to Jamaica.

Any advice/suggestions you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for your thoughfulness. Could you give me an idea on the titles and authors on some of the books? If the books are on any curriculum locally, I think it will be easier for me to find interesting parties to take up your offer.
If not, perhaps I could approach the National Lbrary Service for random readers.

Check out Treasure Beach.net. I have read posts about organizations call BRED's and THE TREASURE BEACH WOMENS GROUP. I read that food for the poor had shipped / or assisted BREDS in having a donation of computers shipped to Jamaica.
