Forgive me if this post is deemed to be off-topic, but this section seems to have a lot more traffic than some of the others and i really wanted to glean your views on this question - especially from caribbean nationals. The question: As a non-politician, with no vested interest in the politics of it, what is your honest opinion of the latest attempts at integration, via the Caricom Single Market?

If you're referring to the CSME - all for it. Free movement to set up businesses, ability to get funding, etc is a good idea. Generally free movemnet within the Caribbean would be good. Have to come up with a strategy to limit travel by persons with crime records (from where-ever). Also need to remove the red-tape with getting approvals. Not sure it will work though - REAL buy-in missing from countries wanting to protect their turf.
