NEED SAFETY MANGER in Caribbean!!!

Great position for a SAFETY MANAGER in the Caribbean. Prefer 2 year contract with option for third year but will consider direct hire.

Requires a minimum of 10 to 15 years related safety engineering experience in a heavy process industry including experience as a safety officer for a small to medium size company or a high level safety role in a large size company and a BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent. A degree in Environmental Health & Safety is a plus. Must have a strong orientation to OSHA and strong leadership abilities.

Position will develop strategies to improve company wide safety performance; review and recommend policy and training programs; perform timely accident investigation reviews; develop lessons learned; lead training and coaching; and ensure safety programs are implemented in a union environment. Will supervise staff of up to a dozen support personnel. Must have strong leadership skills.

Generous package includes salary commensurate with experience and relocation and / or per diem with standard expat package including housing and vehicle.
