Ctry..there is a section on your 1040 Schedule B that asks the question...a lot of people don't really see that part...mi nuh know dem juss ignore the question...that is the schedule that you use to report your dividends and interest etc...down at the bottom it asks if you have foreign accounts...so yes ma'm [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I heard from a few people that Jamaica is doing the same/similar thing. Probably at the "request" of america under the banner "fighting terrorism". Before one could go home to Jamaica and open an account and put in any amount without nosey people a ask all kinda question. Well if a so dem a stick dem nose innah people affairs then Jamaican banks can tan de without foreign deposits. This might seem off-topic but it shows how far america is willing to go to impose its laws on foreigners too in the financial sector.

A scottish businessman is to be extradited to the usa to face charges of corruption, apparently for doing his job. They reckon when enron crashed he help caused it. He's challenging the extradition on grounds of a fair trial to prove he is innocent.

Questions are being raised about the long arm and wide net methods america is using to cast over other countries in terms of financial fraud and corruption investigation procedures and its legality.

Dem a look fi scapegoat... ???
