If it was just the crab/barrell syndrome was the problem it would be a breeze. The problem will come from the Judas Goat The plant that is put their to undermine the program.
That is the problem we have at organizing as a group. We are not aware that there are organizations that actually take our developement very serious serious enough to actually put paid operatives in our organizations to bringit down. Just like they did to Garvey,Manley, Marley, MLK etc.

Yow!! The ball is rolling...the conversation is underway. I am so encouraged by all this conversation (negative and positive); I can now seriously plan to retire in Jamaica... talk about dreams coming through. Yardies, regardless of what 'has been' or what 'we think will happen going forward', lets do this! Don't kill the goose (meaning the conference) that lay this golden egg.
Let's have the "retreat", structure the "organization", define the goals, establish the legal parameters, elect (appoint) the board, study the program in Isreal, create regional chapters all over the world and do this. Like any organization, there is a possibility for abuse - so, everyone make a committment to "police" everything (that's how the Jews do it). I would love to see Jamaica become the favorite place for Jamaicans to retire and their children and grand children's favorite place to visit. This concept is POWERFUL!! Let me repeat, this concept is POWERFUL. Why do you think Jews overseas are so influencial over the affairs of the State of Isreal?

Yes... it can likely be done. We did ask two years ago when the Diaspora Foundation was created, plus if some of you recall there was talk that they had wanted to create a centralized registration database for Jamaican Nationals to record their interest and areas of expertise, and some were considering ja.com as a key contributor to maintaining said database. (ie we already had the technology in place, it would just be an extension, so to speak)
