Serenity, why don't yu find urself a small project..start out small ..to help Jamaica.. yu will gain all ur insight there ..or even just find a group where yu live and work with them to help Ja in some way. There are lots of school alumnis in the states most cities ..many listed on this site too.. just jump in ..start small tho..
talking about it here ..is realy doing n one in Ja any good ...maybe start by cleaning out ur own closet and try to find a charity in Ja to give it to ..

the point many are tryignto make is that somthigng liek this is useful and works because it is slef sustaining. howeven many have cometo discoverthat giving for just givings sake is often wasted energy.

last year a group from canada raide funds and contributions tog et equipment for firmen in jamaica when they arrived it was basically all junked because it didn not meet the requirements ..and in many cases the firement refused to use the cast off equipment. Just becase peopel in need doesn not mean that they need anything you give them.

Im not against charity however it has to be directed properly.
