It is funny how they say they wont attract the &quot;best and brightest&quot; if they scale back the bonus pacakges given....well isnt it the so-called &quot;best and brightest&quot; that got the company (and the rest of us) into this mess?

might be better to offer annual business ethic classes so those best and brightest can learn to &quot;just say no&quot; instead of turning a blind eye to certain company actions......

You got that right. Obviously the bonus payouts are not tied to performance, company profits, or quarterly earnings.

Just saw on the news President Obama speaking about the bonuses for AIG.

He (Pres Obama) was not a happy camper.

They said on the report that Obama was going to fight the bonues for the execs at AIG.

If they already have the money from the package in their hands, I wonder what can President Obama do about the execs not
getting the $165 million in bonus.

AIG said that they are contractually (sp) bound to give out these bonuses.
