1. before the contents have biodegraded and

2. without someone along the way deciding the receiver doesn't really want/need the package and pilfering it for themselves? </span>

Really would like to know what's up with them myself because I sent a small package in December and until now it has not gotten to it's destination and nobody can locate it. fi real.

How do you send it? When I send packages I use international priority mail or express mail,its cheaper than FedEx and the other overnight services but you are still able to track it and that's the advantage. I haven't had a problem with that.

In event of loss, would you be compensated? If so, who pays?

One of the choices had $100 worth of insurance for free or you can add insurance for a couple dollars more, then if its lost USPS would pay (at least thats my understanding since I am getting the insurance from them)

Ok, I wonder if they have an agreement with the Jamaica Postal Corporation regarding liability for loss or damage?

Thank the Lord I have never had to use it, so I really don't know the process but the website says:

You’ll need to provide relevant information, including but not limited to the item number appearing on the barcode; names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the mailer and addressee; and the date of mailing. The International Inquiry Center will correspond with the post in the foreign country. If we determine that a claim for the item should be initiated, we’ll provide you with a claim packet, which includes instructions on how to complete and submit the claim.

Before initiating an inquiry on an item mailed to a foreign country, allow sufficient time for delivery of the mailpiece in that country. Take a look at the information in the table below before initiating inquiries:

All my packages get there and on time too ... no losses that dont change.
