I'm in one at my job for the past 5yrs. Same people every year, we get draw twice for the year.

I use that for my vacation money, my mom also.

If you get a good group of people it will run smooth.

Ms. Exced, is how many people in yours? And everyone get to draw twice a year?

Other question, what if you doan want to 'draw' when is your turn? Yuh get double draw di nex time?

Peasie 11 people in my pawdnah.

If you don't want your draw when is your turn just ask someone to switch with you.

Like me I getting the last draw in May and then when it start back i'm getting 1st draw because mi going to JA .

We help each other out so we don't have any fuss.

When I finally earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology &amp; Multimedia and graduating with a 2:1 honours; I was looking for that great job that was going to make me a lot of money and an early retirement. I did find that secure job or career but the money I was getting was not enough. I became to realize that schools do not teach people of how to become rich, the education school system did not prepare me for the world I face upon graduation. I was trapped in the Rat Race of working for a company, for the government paying taxes, and for the bank paying off a mortgage and a credit card.

My dad taught me physically from an early age how to run a business and about ‘money' which I did not learn in school and from there at the age of 6 and throughout my adult life I developed skills of good money management, hiring people and being in charge of a work force. I wanted to be rich and was fortunate enough to have a father who was willing to invest in my education and learning. He also warned me of education and the type of job role I would go for example: I wanted desperately to work for the police and I was successful in getting an admin position working with Scotland Yard, unfortunately I did not get the job. I was devastated at the time but now I know, that if I had got that job I would be working for money!&quot; supposedly to have money working for me. My dad believed in total financial self-reliance. He was empathetic about being financially competent.

<span style="text-decoration: underline">I thought, how many millions of people are out there in the real world struggling financially, only because there have never been taught these skills?</span>

Indeed it was not long ago that I was leading the same frustrating life most people live. Which is why I know exactly what it is like to live in frustration every day of one's life? Yet millions of people like us live like this until we die. I want to help people to become more financially savvy.

In the last few years I've developed and fine tuned an amazingly &quot;14 Step Partner Plan&quot; which has given me the opportunity to help a lot of people financially.

In May 2005 Portia ‘the banker' had organized a Partner among 5 family members and three outsiders who contribute a regular sum of £20 weekly.

Every week one member of the partner receives the total amount contributed by the partner over that period.

With Portia's determination in helping people with low-level jobs, low income, lack of financial sophistication and to get people to save ‘A Partner System' was created and developed by herself which was called ‘Portia's Partnership Savings Club '.

The Club grew to the point where many different partners were running at the same time and over 500 members had join from good recommendation from others.

The huge success and referral from club members meant that they could now begin to offer much more services.

This is the story of how it all began for Portia Grant, an enterprising young woman from Jamaica.

Portia's Partnership Savings Club was formed in May 2005. The company help people in the UK, such as people with limited access to credit, low income, people who want access to quick cash in emergency situation without the need of a credit history or for people who finds it difficult to save normally and wants to actively save in a ‘pardna group'.

Another questions: what about a pawdnah asking for a loan from the system? How would that work?

Peasie no loan, if an emergency arises the person can ask the person getting the draw if they can switch with them.

The basis for any pardner business is <span style="text-decoration: underline">always</span> a trustworthy banker. If you don't know the banker, then a friend or relative whom you trust, will vouch for the banker. Dollars too hard to come by for you to just go into any an any pardner wid every Mary, Jane &amp; Portia.

Which is why, even though I agree with Kia that this person is quite enterprising, I would <span style="font-style: italic">not</span> be sending my dollars so far fi eena pardner...

They don't really call it a loan, they call it an early draw.

Say there are 10 people in the pardner. Every week you put $25 in. The draws are done monthly. After the first month you've put $100 in in total.

But an emergency has arisen and you need $700 now! You weren't slated to get your draw until the last week of the partner (cause yuh new or it's what you'd asked for).

You approach de banker and tell her your situation. She can either decide to give you the upcoming draw - for $1000, or ask the person who was slated to get that draw if they don't mind switching with you.

Most time the 'asking' is just for show, cause the banker has the 'right' to decide if you are getting the draw early or not.

So she gives you the draw. She's not going to give you the $700 that you want, she will give you the full hand - $1000 (-$25 for your hand for that week), cause it makes life easier.

So though you're getting the loan of $900 - they don't like calling it that. They prefer to call it a draw.

Unlike a bank where you'd have to pay interest on this loan/draw, you won't need to do that here. All you have to do is make sure that you have your $25 to throw the following week.
