Legitimate Investment Groups.

I'm looking into getting into investing, I'd really like to get into Real Estate, but I'm open to start almost anywhere. does anyone know of any legitimate investing groups preferably made up of mostly caribbean people. yes I want to do it for my and my family's financial health, but to invest in the West Indies is to help the West Indies if done right. so any help or info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Are you looking for an investment company or are you looking to join a private investment "club"?

"investment/asset mgmnt companies" (to the extent them exist) or

"investment clubs" or

"individual stocks traded on the Jam stock exchange" or

"real estate"

I was thinking of a club, but really I just want to get started, I want a group as I can get into bigger projects, network with people etc.

if its a club you should really be looking locally to your friends and acquaintances..people you know and trust.

Grayskull, find a local club. I found one through this web site called "Meetup.com" and from there found a local investment club with professionals giving free advice. I also joined investment discussion groups on Linkedin -- mostly those dealing with forex.

Problem is I'm the only one that I know that is interested in doing this.

you have to sell your friends on this..start small show them the benefits.
