Seller home sale closing cost

I was about to list my house until the agent told me 20k in closing cost. I asked, then what the buyer paying? I am so mad I change my mind. I think I am going to refinance 5yrs ARM interest only, since I can wait few more years to sell. I have a good job and still have equity so I have choices. LOL

there are some low commission agents ..maybe you should try one of those

If you have the time & energy you can always do FOR SALE BY OWNER.

I sold my lake property cabin with no agent. I actually did have an agent for a time but she got me so P'O'd over this exact thing I took her sign down and told her to come get it she was fired! In my case, she kept telling me I had to lower my price. When I went on my own to sell I got over twice as much as she was telling me I'd get.

If you sell, do an "as is" clause. And the title insuranc. I did that through a title company, where we signed all of the papers and I walked away with the check and didn't have to part with a chunk!
