Seriously though, in real life we adjust our wardrobe according to the venue. An outing for a conservative event requires conservative dress. An outing for a creative event- we dress more creatively. In her school it appears she wears a uniform and with the uniform comes a dress code. The child's mother is making a mountain over a mole hill and I would not be suprised if this was an attempt to get her daughter into media for acting/modeling.

I don't think they told her to cut it, or suspended her in the first place.

This is one side of the story...schools generally don't speak in the press about these issues...so I don't think we going to know the whole story

I read she was suspended and given a week to think about it before she was expelled. Apparently she is an honour student.

In the US thanksgiving is the big holiday. up here we prefer Christmas.

it's the beginning of the shopping season, of course is a big holiday

we get a week (or more- soon check) at xmas too. them cut the summer vacay shorter i think and u canadians also celebrate : Family day, Queen day, Bastille Day, Snowed in Day, and so forth
