keeping little ones out of the fridge

yes yes yes....as one problem solve a next one arise.

the latest thing now is opening the fridge and taking things. i keep telling her she need to ask etc but it seem to no register. ie she being defiant.

i have sat her down and told her nicely
i have slapped the little hands and give time out


daddy is suggesting to give it a few more weeks and if no changes dem put a lock on the fridge?

ne suggestions from my ja.com experts? What did u do wen ur little ones were at this phase?

Put a snack for her in the fridge in a special corner. Tell her she can get the snack at specific times of day - like when the clock says 10:00 and 2:00. Tell her that are the only time special little girls can open the fridge on their own. If she takes the snack at another time, the consequence would be no snack the next time. She might throw a tantrum but so it go.

i mite try pz way but mi not 100% sold on it. not sure if LV will be able to deal with the temptation of other things in the fridge. I keep chocolate/ candy treats in there which i give to her in very small portions and she still sometimes ask for treat when she use the bathroom. I would say she is 95% potty trained now but i still have to bribe her some times to avoid accidents. I am trying to cut out the treat system but i notice less treas equal more accidents. she doesnt get treats at school and she has been doing excellent there so mi know is just brains she a work pan mi at home.

I am not sure if she will be ok with going in for a healthy snack and not being able to have the treats. sunday mi go ketch her a tief out the condense milk i had to scold her but deep dung mi a dwl cus mi memba those days. only mi no tink mi did stawt till i was much much older. i am also scared she mite see something weh look like treat and go eat it and a no sinting fi she eat. or go play up play up inna di food dem. mi no want her going to the fridge without adult really.

so is the treats she going in deh after...get container to put dem in so she cant see dem an nuh mek her si where yuh keep dem.
