taste kinda funny.
But good old grits,
just cant be beat.
It's a pure down south,
southern taste treat.
So give me grits every day,

Suh unnu down wid di grits? ILP, mi can't get wid di way how yuh have it. It too coarse. Maybe mi haffi eat it a few times and get use to it. But like Sue seh, it mek a nice parridge.

Sue, yuh use it by itself mek di parridge? Mi mix it up wid cawnmeal. Nice gawn to bed.

Mi si mi grandmadda use it and mek it like turn cawnmeal wid seasoning and all.

Yes, I know how to cook them but it's a secret. My dad taught me way back when, they come out fluffy not heavy and mealy and lumpy.
